Hold applications: premiums are not drafted during the hold period. Drafting begins after the hold date passes.
Non-hold applications: drafting begins once the application is submitted through the portal.
If underwriting is needed, the application is reviewed before the policy becomes active.
If approved, coverage proceeds. If declined, the premium is refunded.
